| Free Downloads for UserClass, paid downloads for everyone else | ||

  Registered Member #2368 Joined: Location: New York Posts: 9 | I currently use EasyShop to sell digital downloads. As it stands now, everything seems fine. However, I would like to change my business model so that users of a premium userclass will not be charged for the downloaded file. My first thought was just to point e107's download manager to the easyshop files directory for the files, but I quickly remembered that each file had it's name hashed out for security reasons. I could copy the files into two places, and that would solve my issues to, but that uses up double the amount of space. What is my best method for offering the premium members free downloads? Is it possible to create a 100% user discount that is automatically applied based on the class? If so, will it still need to pass through PayPal to check out? And if that is the case, will there still be paypal fees? Thanks for the great plug-in. | ||
