Hi, I am not sure if my Locator V1.3 is working correctly. I have the plugin installed into v1.0.4 of e107. When I setup locations, unless I specify lat/long coordinates of my locations, it does not display a map. Also clicking on the location marker in the location list being up a URL in another window which doesn't show my chosen location, it shows a generic Google maps loction. I have enabled Google Maps JavaScript API v3 and other geolocation APIs on my google account and have entered the API code correctly, it is like it does not perform the geolocation part, if I enter the coordinates manually to the location then location and map display correctly. If is this automatic geolocation from the address or postcode that seems to not work correctly. Any ideas?

Martin

Hi Martin, is this website publicly available? Otherwise, that might be the cause.
Normally, filling in an address should work for displaying the locator icon on the map; although it might not work in all countries.
Furthermore, if it is visible, I would like it if you shared the link with me. You can either do that in a public reply in this forum, or -if you rather want to give a private reaction- through my contact page.

From the locator plugin readme.txt:
What countries is geocoding available in?
The Google Maps API Geocoder can currently geocode addresses in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, The United Kingdom, and the United States.
The accuracy of geocoded locations may vary per country.
