I have had my store open a couple of days using the email option, and I've just been told by a customer that they were told I would contact them, and they haven't been contacted. I haven't received my sellers email - at first I thought it was lost in spam but I can't find anything at all.

1) I can't find where the admin email address is set up. The email is not coming to the email address listed for "support". Is it meant to go to the site administrator?

2) I can't find any kind of record of sales in the database. Is there one?

I've gone back to my service provider to find which emails were sent off the server under the Stores name - but the email doesn't actually show the buyers details anywhere, except the email address?

I tested the plugin extensively, but I think I must have been mistaking the "buyers" email for the admin email?

Is there any way to see if there have been any other sales?

1. EasyShop transactions will be e-mailed to the Admin Area > Preferences > Main site admin email
2. EasyShop transactions are displayed in Admin Area > EasyShop > Shop Monitor, underneath the grid clickable buttons should be visible.

NOTE: for proper transactions in the EasyShop > Preferences > PayPal tab the setting 'PayPal e-mail address' is of importance. It needs to be a PayPal verified mail address for a PayPal Premier or Business account. Please be aware that PayPal will send you a notification to this e-mail address as well as soon as a succesfull transaction has been completed.

If you use PayPal IPN; before enabling IPN in EasyShop you have to setup Paypal:
1. Login at your PayPal account and go to My account - Profile - Instant Payment Notification Preferences
2. ensure 'IPN' is on and place your root website URL in the 'IPN' URL box
3. Click on Save.
Note: Paypal IPN will only work on a public server - it will not work on a 'Localhost'

Thank you - I have changed the Site admin email to me and not my client so that I can see what is happening.

1) If the customer isn't logged in, I receive the emails of both buyer and seller although the special instructions are missing. So far I have received buyer emails when the user is logged in, but not yet the seller emails. I'll try again.

2) There is nothing below the grid in shop monitor. The last line of the page is "Total number of files in folder downloads/ 0".

I am not using paypal, only the email. (The "Overide paypal with email is marked yes). Do only paypal transactions show in this area?

I can't find a table that stores sales transactions - am I missing a table? These are my tables:

Browse: (16 Rows) e107_easyshop_currency
Browse: (0 Rows) e107_easyshop_discount
Browse: (0 Rows) e107_easyshop_ipn_orders
Browse: (2 Rows) e107_easyshop_item_categories
Browse: (8 Rows) e107_easyshop_items
Browse: (1 Rows) e107_easyshop_main_categories
Browse: (1 Rows) e107_easyshop_preferences
Browse: (0 Rows) e107_easyshop_properties

Kind regards

1. ok
2. sorry, these buttons are only available when using PayPal IPN. There is no storage of regular sales transactions in combination with the e-mail override setting. This is only done in table e107_easyshop_ipn_orders when working with PayPal IPN.

Thank you.

I have set up the IPN and I can now see the headings. Will this store all transactions, or only the paypal transactions.

I've not used PayPal before. My website can we accessed from two possible URLs/domain names. What will happen if someone tries to pay when they have accessed the site from the "wrong" URL?

When using PayPal IPN all PayPal transactions will be visible in the EasyShop Monitor; also those transactions that never completed. By using the buttons 'Delete Shopping/Processing transactions > 3 days old' and/or 'Delete all ES check transactions > 7 days old' (number of days old dependent on settings in Admin Area > EasyShop > General Preferences > IPN Monitor) you can clean up those processing data.

The URL change should in theory always go correct; as EasyShop is passing on the full URL of the site as it is before going to the PayPal payment confirmation page. So if your current website supports domaina.tld/e107_plugins/easyshop/thank_you.php AND domainb.tld/e107_plugins/easyshop/thank_you.php than the referral back from PayPal should go correct.
