I'm looking to see if this is something that can be created..

I am just starting out with PHP coding - I am 1/2 way though the PHP / My SQL for Dummies book. I am by no way a PHP Expert..

What I am looking for, is a plug-in that is like the "Locator" plug-in that will take addresses from an RSS feed, and display them on the map. It would need to parse the RSS at 15 - 30 minute intervals, and plot updated info onto the map. At a certain time, it should delete all of the old points off the map.

I'm looking for something that maps out police calls, building fires, and accidents in my area to display them on my website. I already have an RSS source that outputs that type of information. I just need to get that all onto a map.

I would be willing to donate to your site, or maybe get you something off of your "wish list" for the help (but not something as expensive as the new laptop) :)

Thanks for the help
